How to Set Up Secure Payouts with Refr Sports

Refr Sports ensures a secure and reliable way for you to manage payouts using Stripe, a trusted leader in payment processing. This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your bank account and start managing payouts confidently.

Step 1: Locate Your Payout Settings

For Mobile: Locate the "Add Payout Option" button while logged into your Refr Sports account. Click on your profile in the bottom menu and select "Payout Information".

Step 2: Enter Your Personal Information for Stripe Connection

Stripe ensures that your personal details are encrypted and stored securely throughout the setup process.

• Click “Add Payout Information” to be redirected to Stripe and initiate the connection process.

Provide Your Personal Information

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the required fields:

• Type of Business
• If you are a referee, select “Individual” as your business type.
• If you are an assignor and have a business entity, select “Company.”
• Name and Address
• Enter your legal name and current address. This information is required for security, tax purposes, and identity verification. Data is encrypted and securely managed by Stripe.
• Your Website
• If you are a referee, you can either enter refrsports.com or select “No URL?” and type “I am a sports official.”
• If you are an assignor, you can either enter your business website or select “No URL?” and type “I am a sports official assignor.”

• Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN)

• Provide your Social Security Number (SSN). 
• If you are an assignor with a registered business entity, provide your Employer Identification Number (EIN) instead.
• This is required for tax reporting and to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. Rest assured, Stripe encrypts and secures all sensitive information, adhering to the highest standards of payment security.

Stripe ensures all details are encrypted and securely processed, so your payouts remain safe and reliable.

• Choose either “Bank Account” or “Debit Card” as your payout destination.

• Follow the on-screen prompts to securely input your bank account or debit card information. This will enable automatic and secure weekly direct deposits.

• Double-check your information and confirm the setup to finalize your direct deposit preferences.

Step 4: Verify and Confirm Your Setup

Your bank account or debit card information is securely managed by Stripe and is never accessible through Refr Sports.

Review and Submit Your Information

• If everything looks correct, click “Agree and Submit.”

Return to Refr Sports

• Once your setup is complete, Stripe will automatically redirect you back to your Refr Sports account.

Check for Confirmation

• On desktop, refresh your page and confirm that the button now reads “Manage Account.”
• On mobile, verify that your status displays as “Payout Connected.”
