  • Why are officials telling me that they have created an account, but I'm not seeing them show up in my pool?

-Often times officials will have created an account and believe they are completely set up and good to go, but they haven't finished the two most key steps in onboarding, pairing with Stripe and pairing with their assignor. Please remind officials that they need to pair with you in order to be assigned to any games. The only way that they can be paired with you is to first become connected with Stripe.

  • I have officials that will refuse to pair bank account information with Stripe. What should I tell them/do about this?

-At Refr Sports, we understand that security is a top concern when it comes to sharing your banking information. That’s why we’ve partnered with Stripe, one of the most trusted and secure payment processors in the world. Stripe handles all payments, meaning Refr Sports does not store or have access to any of your banking details. Stripe uses advanced encryption to protect your information, ensuring that your payment data is kept secure and private.

Stripe is used by well-known companies like DoorDash, Uber, and Amazon, which rely on it to securely process millions of transactions every day. You can feel confident knowing that your payments are in the hands of a reliable, industry-leading company. For more details on Stripe's security practices, you can visit their security page (https://stripe.com/docs/security) or read more about their encryption standards (https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe).If you have any further questions or concerns, we’re here to help!
  • I have an organization that previously wasn't paying through Refr and now wants to pay through Refr, will they incur both the $2per game fee and the 3% processing fee?
-Any game fees set under $10 in the system will automatically be recognized as a cash game and will invoice $2 per game instead of the 3%. The 3% fee applies to the premium version, which involves the movement of money. For any games where the fee is set above $10, the system assumes it's not a cash game. It will then issue the funds to the official the following Wednesday, invoice the organization for the amount, and add the 3% service fee.

  • Is there a minimum time frame a referee can take themselves back off of a game prior to the start time?
- Positions lock 24 hours after a referee assigns to a game.

  • How can multiple people within one of my organizations have the ability to view their Refr Sports account?
- Sub-accounts which will allow access to one organization account from multiple different profiles is something in development right now. Until that feature is completed, we ask that the organization's login credentials are shared amongst those who need access to the account.
